It took a day longer than I thought, buy we’re back! It’s time for Part 2!
As I mentioned in our last update, the Monster Contests finalists have been chosen! Check out the gallery below if you haven’t had a chance yet!
Did you get a chance to inform yourself? Good! VOTING IS NOW LIVE! Go to www.multivarious.com/nomercy/contest to look at the gallery and cast your vote! We’re asking for your top 3 designs and we are limiting the votes to assure that we get an accurate response! Congratulations to everyone who made it this for in the contest, you all come up with some incredible designs!
If you all follow our Twitter or Facebook accounts, you may have seen that we got an email from a certain distribution platform. That’s right, No Mercy has been Greenlit!
To those of you who may not be familiar with the Steam Greenlight Process, we put No Mercy on the site, to let our and Steam’s Community to vote on whether they would want to see the project on the Steam Platform. Well, after 15 days, both communities spoke and we received an email from Steam telling us we have been accepted into their ecosystem. So now that we are Greenlit, we are officially confirmed for a Steam Release, which is exciting! Stay tuned to hear more updates about No Mercy coming to Steam in the future!
With all this excitement behind us, let’s look to the future! We’re going to be doing A LOT in the next few weeks, and we want you to know a little about our plans! Let’s start with Twitch.
We are doing 2 streams to celebrate the Kickstarter! Tomorrow night (Friday March 3rd) starting at 9 PM our Artist Elentori is going to be doing a 6-hour Art Stream on her Twitch channel. Anyone who has donated or donates during the stream will be entered into a drawing to request drawings throughout the night. So if you like art, or Elentori, then you should totally watch her stream tomorrow! Who knows, you may even find out a little more about a certain character of the game.
Speaking of unveiling way too much plot, you all earned a Drunk Writers Stream! The main writing team for No Mercy, Bria and Jon, are going to have some booze and answer your questions about the game. Tune in Saturday night to watch in on the fun. We’ll have more information on our Social Media pages in the next few days, so be ready for that as well!
Moving on to physical events, we’re going to PAX East next week! We won’t have a booth, but we will have handouts so if you see someone from the team at PAX, be sure to say hi! We’re ready to hit Boston, find some awesome indies, and celebrate all things Gaming!
Finally, we wanted to leave you with a new initiative that we are going to be doing with each of our updates from here on out. As our Kickstarter gets closer to the end, we wanted to provide a look to the future, so we all sat down and talked about what we’re most excited about and at the end of each update, we’ll hit you with a few of these excitements.
Cody: “Honestly, I’m just excited for the return of Couch Co-Op with No Mercy. Who doesn’t have fond memories playing games next to a friend, sibling, or any other special person? We’re trying to recapture that fun dynamic that you’re just now starting to see in games again, and that’s exciting.”
Katie: “I think my favorite thing so far has been seeing all the fanart and awesome creations people have made, we've even had some papercraft and cupcakes! If I ever see cosplay for No Mercy at a convention that will be absolutely amazing and the highlight of my life.”
So, that’s it from me! A lot has happened this week (hence the GIANT updates) but none of it would have happened without you. Thank you so much, from the bottom of all of our hearts. We have a little under 2 weeks left in the Kickstarter, so let’s push together and make No Mercy the best game it can be!
With Love,
-Cody and the Multivarious Team
